General
Do I need to book in advance?
You don’t have to book tickets in advance (there will be a box office on site) although it’s recommended, specially on Weekends and Holidays. Buying tickets online ensures that the exhibition isn’t sold out on the day of your visit. Prices are the same both online and offline.
At the box office we will prefer automatic payment instead of cash in order to avoid physical contact.
How long does the visit last?
The visit will take at least 80 minutes. But there’s no need to rush- you can stay in the Experience for as long as you like.
What language is the audio guide in?
The audio guide is available in Portuguese, English, Spanish, Catalan, French, German, Italian, Korean and Mandarin.
Can I use my own headphones?
Yes, you can. As long as it has a jack 3,5mm cable. We also inform that all audio-guides and respective headsets are disinfected after each use.
What sanitary measures will be in place?
In order to keep everyone safe:
- We will provide fixed locations with hand sanitizers for you to use
- The use of mask is mandatory upon entry
- Reduction of maximum capacity per slot
- Social distancing measures will be taken and motivated
- We will prefer automatic payments at the box office and merchandise shop
- Regular disinfection
Visiting Meet Vincent van Gogh
Touching the Meet Vincent van Gogh Experience
Visitors are encouraged to use and touch all elements of the Meet Vincent van Gogh Experience. However, please ensure that you treat all installations and set work, as well as your fellow visitors, with respect.
We will make all efforts to make sure that all items that are to be touched are regularly disinfected.
Eating and drinking
No food or drink is allowed inside the Experience.
Can I bring in my bag / luggage / baby stroller?
No baby baby strollers, suitcases or other bulky objects may be brought in. Small bags are allowed inside the Experience. We strongly advise that you only bring necessary items. The cloakroom is locked as a security measure.
Tickets
If I bought a ticket online do I need to come in at the time shown on the ticket?
You can come to the exhibition at any point between the times shown on your ticket, not before or after. You can stay in the exhibition as long as you want.
How can I buy group tickets?
If you wish to purchase tickets for a group of more than 10 people, you can do so during the purchase process itself when the tickets are already on sale. Please note that, due to health recommendations, we may not be able to allow the whole group to enter at the same time (depending on the number of people).
